Senior Jack Nicholson finished his smoke and headed out from the hotel. He added a cigar to his knit zip-up, winked at the doorman through his sunglasses.
He kindly signed autographs for the waiting fans. A photo? “Sure, but only if you deliver a two-shot with him (the doorman) by tomorrow.” That’s the kind of charm that makes you fall for the legend.
The entrance to that classic hotel — that circle — isn’t it great? If there were a runway, even the short walk to the waiting car would be effortlessly cool.
While I was writing that, Reo appeared wearing a cashmere knit zip-up. Ah, of course — my stars are always in these clothes. In the cinema room, life on screen and reality blend together.
